Successful projects supported include, help with improvements to village halls, equipment for playgroups, information signs for village open spaces, help for bell-ringers to raise funds for new church bells, and many more.

The Big Lottery funding has now finished but the Tudor Trust and The Baring Foundation continue to fund Westden’s community work which focuses on supporting local climate change action groups.

Westden staff can help groups with:

• Ideas for action
• Setting up groups and committees
• Organising meetings and events
• Information and free resources pack, including a CD containing short films from Defra on climate change.
