LOPWELL CAMPING BARN
West Devon Borough Council is selling Lopwell Camping Barn and Westden has submitted a proposal to purchase the Barn and set up an Educational, Recreational and Environmental Centre for people of all ages, interests and abilities.
We have been in touch with over 40 organisations who would either like to use the Centre or support the project. Colleges, schools, youth groups and sports groups are keen to have access to the Centre, either as a day centre or for over-night accommodation.
We will know if our bid has been successful in June and if so, hope to have a comfortable residential centre which will sleep 18 open later in the summer. Get in touch if you would like to be added to our mailing list for further information.
TRANSITION TAVISTOCK
The new Transition Tavistock group is now up and running. Regular meetings are taking place and a programme of events is being established for the next few months.

SCHOOL GARDENS PROJECT
Westden and Sue Fisher are working on a project to establish gardens in local schools in West Devon.
